St. Cloud has taken steps to ensure that this year, Hockey Day Minnesota will be bigger, better, than any year before! There will be so many different things to do for hockey lovers or anyone looking for a little fun! You can participate in the Hat Trick Challenge or the Long “Hockey Putt” Challenge on Saturday. You can take your whole family to the selfie zones to capture cute and quirky photos. You can even play Hammerschlagen! What is Hammerschlagen you ask? Well… if you don’t know already you’re going to have to come find out for yourself. Trust me, it will be a blast! There will also be a children's recreational play area on Friday from 4- 7p.m. where your little ones can roam and get all their pent up winter energy out before you head home for the night. At some point of course the kids will get tired, hungry or cranky, and that’s when you can take a break in the tents of Inventure Village where you can warm up, eat some food, and shop for some Hockey Day Minnesota 2018 gear. As one last surprise, for the first time in it’s history, Hockey Day Minnesota will feature live bands to play between and after games on Saturday.

Andy Austin a cover artist whose favorite songs range from Jonny Cash, Matchbox 20, Ed Sheeran, and the Goo Goo Dolls, will perform around noon.

Walters Wheelhouse a previous Summertime at Lake George entertainer, will perform after the Women’s collegiate game around 3:00 p.m.

The Fabulous Armadillos will play from 7-10 p.m. in a show that is free to the public.

Andy Austin and Walters wheelhouse shows will be exclusively for Hockey Day Minnesota ticket holders.
